Outreach and Conference

On June 17th we organized our annual conference which is the main outreach event of the year. This time we invited two guest speakers: Dr. Dan Borvan from Grace United Reformed Church (Torrance, CA) and Rev. Fikret Bocek from the Protestant Church of Izmir (Turkey).

During this one day conference we had several lectures and a Q&A session on how we should prepare for suffering. We were glad to see several new visitors attend this event. Among the visitors, there were also some people from Transylvania who are longing for a Reformed church to be established in their city.

We are thankful that the Lord is using these conference to bring more people to the awareness and understanding of Reformed theology. We strive to remain in contact with the visitors and invite them back to the worship services of the church plant and also to future events.

During the months of July and August many people leave the city and we do not plan any outreach events. We do continue the worship services and focus on prayer, planning and preparation for the next outreach season which will start in September.
