2024 Conference: The Dangers of Modern Theology

We are thankful for another conference in Bucharest, this time with Dr. Zachary Purvis, minister of the Free Church of Scotland and professor of Edinburgh Theological Seminary. Dr. Purvis spoke on "The Dangers of Modern Theology". A dilluted liberalism is widespread in today's "neo-protestantism" in many Christian communities which place feelings over fact and doctrine.

It was a good opportunity to learn but also to connect with new people who visited the church plant for this event. Dr. Purvis also preached for our worship service a sermon on Genesis 28, an important OT text which portrays a quite different ladder to heaven than the one imagined by the eastern tradition.
